well for a novice driver the 8 is faster because its more forgiving, you can time me on any road in the 7 and 8 back to back and i'll pull up faster times in the 8. if your experienced and handle an FD then a FD is a lot faster because it has more torque and is smaller

id agree with that too its common knowledge that the FD is a faster car but if you've been driving for less than a year than no matter what you drive you're not going to be too fast

hey dude i'd believe that, the FD isnt the end all best car there is, its a kick *** car, but skill and a decent car will beat the FD if you have a novice driver piloting it a really heavily modded EG hatch with sub 2000 pound weight and a basic b series swap and a good driver probably would whoop me

For the record, I have tight conections at RR&R and they have track tested 8 vs Fd and a 8 vs Turbo 2, the 8 was 2nd with all 3 drivers. So is that prove enough for you? The 8 was the fastest model available in 2005. the FD was a BASE 94 5 SP. So if it were a R1 OR R2 it would've been murder. The race was at willow springs.

since your dad has to take you to mcdonald's, make sure you show him your grattitude. after all, he let's you drive his cars. then again, maybe your dad isn't the sharpest tool in the shed. letting his smart-mouthed, big-headed son drive his car. maybe the apple hasn't fallen to far from the tree.

laying down on your back and spitting straight up isn't the smartest thing to do kid. but you're too dense to realize that, so keep spittin' kid.

I never said I had a problem, and if you see my sig it sez that I have no 8 yet, so anyways....... I was just asking you a question, why do you get so butt hurt? BTW you have a very nice car. As for hanging in a 8 forum, it's not like I drive a honda, I wouldn't mind hanging with fellow rotorheads. Is there something strange about that?

Ladies please, where do I start....

You girls are posting faster than I can read; I would like to say a few things.

First, the fact is that most people in this thread don't have the car under their own name. For insurance reasons my car is under my moms name. I'm sure I’m not the only one.

Second, The DSC will slow the car down so long as you're a better driver than the computer. If you can't drive worth ****, the DSC will help your speed.

Lastly, Stealth, you need to realize that it has nothing to do with the fact that the car/s is not yours. No one cares who paid for it, as long as you appreciate it. The underlying problem here is your attitude towards others. I want others to keep in mind that he is only 16 and at his age we were all like this. I know I was, I walked around like my **** didn’t stink.

There is not going to be neither a conflict nor race at this next meet. We had a canyon run at the second meet, if you wanted to race, that was your chance.

Now where is my KY?????
