What's up with RX8 meets? Do you guys go to vegasrotary.com meets?

Very nice cars, they look real clean! Why is your 7 down? Blown motor or something? But, I'm glad to see another local joint the site.. We don't have any official RX8 meets as of yet, but we are working on it. Still trying to get organized, and getting a bigger group count. I have never personally been to a vegasrotary.com meet, but I've posted on the site before. Here's a picture of my current 8, I'll be getting rid of it soon for a 2007 model and different color.

 

My office building is behind the Stratosphere just off Industrial (Mechanical Contractor).

I use to drink, but I stopped.. Plus, drinking is not good for you, that's my lesson learned. So, don't drink too much like you did when you went to that concert, and then the whole weekend you were out of commission to do anything. You didn't even take pictures of your car yet and post them on here. But, call me on Sat. or Sun., call me and we'll meet up anywhere like you said. Maybe, you could come down to my house, and take pictures of both our Veilsides. Even though, mine is still sitting wrecked.

 

Are there any turboed, supercharged or other E-managed 8s in Vegas? I can't possibly be the first - there has to be others out there. I tried the local Forced Induction club forum, Las Vegas racing forum and Vegas Rotary and can't seem to find any other FI or e-managed 8s. One reason I ask is that Steve Kan is coming to town the 5 & 6 of May for a tuning session, dyno & street, and I seem to be the only 8 that is signed up. If anyone is out there, pm me and I'll set you up with the right people.

Right now all that's installed on my 8 is the Interceptor x but Pettit is trying to get me my S/C before Steve gets here.

I will be putting in a turbo, but I won't say which.. But, that's after I put on my wide body kit, rims, brakes, etc. Also, today I found out that my dad wants to keep my RX8, and told me to just get another one. HAHAH So, sweet! I also own a 05 black Mustang, that's my daily driver. I'm thinking about selling that now.. No clue yet. As far as the 8 meets go, we still need to get everybody's info completed, as well as PM me their e-mail and #. Here is what I got so far, it's still not completed.. We don't even know or have everyone's first name.

who owns the silver veilside rx8 with a greddy sticker on the windshield. i saw you the other day and a ambulance was going by and you were trying to find somewere to go. this was on lindell and sahara, i was on lindell on the right side of you. i reved but no remark.

 

Still no RX8 yet. The wife wanted a Prius so I got one for her. Now i've inherited the truck & have to sell it before I buy an RX8. I'm hoping the 2008 RX8 specs are leaked soon. Someone posted the specs for canadian cars and it looks like (for 2008) winning blue is back & the moonroof is optional, so I'm hoping they do the same for US Cars. I'm sure production starts sometime this summer so they'll have to make up their minds soon.

Anyone wants a 2007 Chevy Silverado 4x4 crew cab? 6.0L and 367HP can't be wrong... Gets the same MPG as the RX8 too. LOL

She wanted a Prius? Why?? LOL What's so good about the car? I don't know much about it, to be honest.. Besides that it gets good MPG! But, you really want that MT Winning Blue RX8? What about the interior? Leather seats or just cloth?

 

lol I gotta scrub hard? lol uh no. I conviced the valet at work to do it...as a matter of fact, he's washin my car right now he used to detail down at desert bmw yay my car is gonna be clean. He said I gotta do the outside myself thoguh, he's just gonna do the inside...which is fine with me lol.

I'd like leather, but I'm too tall for the moonroof that they force-feed you on cars with leather. So cloth it is... Amazing how dumb car companies are.

 

Oh yeh, the prius is all about MPG.. 45mpg at 75MPH.. 50+ at 55mph. Had it one week yesterday and already have 2300 miles on it.

 

Damn, how tall are you?? I personally never liked the moonroof on the RX8.. It sort of kills the smooth lines on the roof, plus it looks weird when it's open. But, I'm glad that the Prius is working out for you guys, is it meant to be a family car? It's a 4 door car with a lot of room from what I've seen.. The MPG on the car is unbelievable, save a lot on gas-huh?!

 

You could never convice me to clean your car, not even if you paid me!! But, changing the subject.. How come you never called over the weekend? I don't know If I can take you as a serious buyer now.. You said before you were gonna buy them, and then you never did. So, I don't know what's going on now..
