BTW fellow 8 owners who might head to Centennial. They never asked me for a year's full of oil change receipts. I had them ready if they did, but they never once brought it up.

Thats good to know, I had asked them about it when i was there and they said its better to have them "just in case".

Yea I would still keep oil change receipts just in case because you never know what might happen but this seems like a good all around dealer that actually wants to keep its customers.

Yeah I feel kinda bad... I treated them as if they were the Courtesy guys a little. It wasn't warranted, they did my girl justice and I am super happy with how she is running.

Cenntenial is where I took my 8 to get motor replace, had Doug as my guy. I wouldn't go anywhere else, it was almost as if they actually care about cars and customers and not money. When replacing motor he called me up saying I had to replace the clutch as well, I replied with I didn't have the extra money at the time he replys with don't worry I'll work it out. I had the entire clutch replaced for only a $100 more. They are on my A-list

And yes I agree with sending them pizza haha

Yea I have not had any warranty work done there only been to the parts department but even that guy there struck up a conversation about rx8's with me. It's sad but you really cant find many places that actually care about customers any more.

Haha I'm seriously down for it plus it's brownie points whenever one of us has to go in and see them along with keeping them customer friendly.

Xexok, ya they love their 8s there. When you were there did you see th sales rep thats kinda like an Elvis wannabe?

No the guy I was talking to at the parts counter did not look like Elvis or a wannabe Elvis. If you mean a salesman just walking around there I try to avoid any of them like the plague whenever I go to a dealership.

I am looking for a 4 port working engine. I don't imagine that there could be one locally but it's worth a post. If you have one or know of one please PM me with details.

In a a/t the engine and tranny must come out the bottom. This ideally requires a "table" to accomplish. On the off chance that our new local dealer would cooperate, Erick went over to talk to them. The dealer was very receptave but needed to talk to the head mechanic to commit him to the project. I am deffinatly changing my mind about the local new dealer.

Well I found an engine. If nothing goes too far wrong I may actually be able to drive my 8 to the show........

The dealer in the northwest has agreed to pull my engine.......so he is gaining on my list of good guys......

As 13X has posted, this Friday at the Napoli Pizza joint will be the last meet of the workers for the WHiV4 meet. We do need a couple of more so if you are willing to help please come.

I would like to go into the dealership to get many things checked but that $150 inspection fee is a killer, if I think somethings wrong and it isn't then I would be out $150.

In my eyes if a car is still under the bumper 2 bumper warranty you should at least have a certain number of times you can get it checked out for free to see if there are any problems, but they just don't see it that way.

gonna be in town for the WHiV meet n' was thinkin' about checkin' out the Marquee on Friday night to check out Benny Benassi...

any advice? i realize the lines are ridiculous and they don't take kindly to dudes at the door unless you look like you're from the movie twilight.

Tillz, show up before 11... after that you can't get in as a dude... even if you are in Twilight (I've seen celebs turned away at prime time). Cover is $50 without a walk in, just be prepared for that. Benassi won't be going on before 2AM and there is no where to sit or chill unless you've paid thousands to do so. So be prepared to walk around in an overly crowded club for a few hours.

The place is bomb and amazing with a table so if you can convince others to chip in it might be worth it. Tables start at $2500.

ok guys i have a quick question. there is a listing for rx7 spare wheels on craigslist locally and the guy has some rx7 enkie spares. i just spoke with him and i believe he said that they are 16".

here is the link so you can see.

http://lasvegas.craigslist.org/pts/2349781010.html

the one im talking about is the silver donut in the lower right pic.

so my question is, before i drive allllll the way out to the north west side of town to get it, will this clear the rx8 front brakes? isn't the rx8's enkie spare a 17" wheel? i'd really like to get this a spare i can keep in the trunk.

let me know if any of you know if it will fit or not. it would save me the gas and trouble of going out there to just "test fit".
