Thanks for the input fellas... well the verdict is IN:
Need new engine - Bad compression
Gave them all necessary oil change receipts right after I brought her in. (<--since i knew they'd ask) They replaced my coils under my extended warranty w/ $100 deductable, they re-used my plugs and wires (since i told them it wasn't necessary just to do the compression test, so he got the tech to continue w/ the compression test)... after turning in the results to Mazda, they got response to change out engine.... I should be picking up a loaner/rental sometime today/tomorrow.
...now to shop around for the plugs and wires
Oh, and Courtesy (People's) Mazda in Centennial is no longer a Mazda dealership... GMC next door picked up Mazda. Courtesy in Hendo is the only other one now.... just a FYI (and Peter is still in Courtesy until next week or so... so I'm dealing w/ Doug)

When I got my 8 I never went back to the stealership but for recalls and a hand few of service works. But everytime I took the blue demon in Pete remembered me and my 8.
The last time I went there was when I got my engine replaced about six months back. That sucks Peter is leaving. Frocken Duggy fresh will eat your children.
I took my 8 in and told Pete whats up. Then a week later took it back and in one day they had my 8 ready with a new engine. I only need to use a friends car for one day
Pete was great and really took care of me.

We just picked up a clean 5 speed 1984 Volvo GL (Wagon) RWD SOHC.
Plans are to swap a 1993 V8 5.0 from a Mustang in it. That engine bolts right up to the tranny. Swap options are endless with this car. I found the V8 I need for $400 obo in Hindo
.Also wheel hubs that will give me 5x4.5 so I can run a more commen wheel set up. This will also give me the RX-8 wheel hub bolt pattern. Lowering springs more like slammed springs haha. Sway bars endlinks (kinda). Cut and weld the fender wells so we can run some 225 17's with a sick off set. I may have left out some stuff. But its a 4 door so its good for the fam.
Let the madness begin!
My Flux Capacitor is slipping and if you have ever seen my engine bay you know it aint no easy task getting to it. There are a few other repairs that need to be done before Seven Stock.

Easy if I did would be in the afternoon as my little ones b-day is tommorow and have plans with him Sat morning, gots to do the dad thing too , the other one's b-day is is a couple weeks but has his already and we have been working the last 3 weekends on it, it fires up and drove it's self out of the garage so I could get the SA back in, oh a red 85 FB maybe for his b-day we'll trailer it to the dried lake bed by boulder city cause he'll be turning 15, but it will be cherry by the time he can drive it legally, yes that makes 3 rotories at the house

New transmission is FINALLY on the way! 23K and only synthetic fluid was supposedly ever used. Here's hoping this thing fixes all of my transmissions issues I have had the past year. God it would be great to have a fully functional Kasumi!!!

New transmission is FINALLY on the way! 23K and only synthetic fluid was supposedly ever used. Here's hoping this thing fixes all of my transmissions issues I have had the past year. God it would be great to have a fully functional Kasumi!!!

, well at least when I had it.. dunno bout the next guy (has anyone seen it lately?) But yeah, lets see... OH, and I USED PREMIX ON THIS LAST ENGINE... makes you wonder :icon_no2
