ok im looking at replacing my radio in my car in the near future since the cd changer stopped working and its been driving me nuts to listen to the radio only. dose any one know a good place to have this done at?

 

I would just buy one and replace it your self.

 

The last time i did that i had a dozen or so screws left over that i couldn't find the homes for again. so i figured for my 8 i would have someone else put it in.

Not sure what your asking but I assume that you wish to fill out the data log for a current reflash? The logging procedure your link is for is the latest. Follow the directions to the fullest and be sure to use the correct email address.

1. Show date of posting for the method used. (just in case you are using an outdated method)
2. Follow directions as shown in the posting
3. Include the 11 deadly sins
Have you done some changes since the initial flash? Usually a n/a car does not require a reflash unless they do something spectacular.

 

There is not a rotary shop in Vegas. The dealer is suspect. You have a group here that has done it all to their 8s, feel free to ask direction on what every you want to try. Be sure to look in the DIY section of this Forum as the help there is valuable.

hey phil, well i was looking to get the MM maps because i paid for his service and was kinda confused how to use, but thanks. Also my problem was i have my midpipe and exhaust on, and i know its running REAL lean cause i hardly smell the new exhaust smell over gasoline

 

Lean is death to these engines......Understand that I am not MM, am only asking questions and laying out a few suggestions. I know MM very well and do know that he can be very slow in answering you but if you follow his "rules" you should get something fairly quickly. He get so many "help me" calls that he does not answer them, only when they give him something to work with will he respond. I know it's exasperating but when he's at my house he must get 30 phone calls or emails with people wanting him to help them and not being able to tell him what's really going on.

Usually there are three maps in the Cobb...... Did you try one of the other maps? I hate to speak for him but in my case he leaves me with a pig rich map and a high hp map so if I run into a problem I can change to the pig rich map and get by until he can get to me.
