Got to keep up my quota of posting once every 3 months so here goes. Here's pics of Kasumi getting her body kit installed. It is a urethane replica for the front bumper and skirts and the rear flares are from Mazda.
It was painted at the auto school on Lake Mead and honestly, they did a better job of matching the paint on the bumper and skirts than Mazda did on the areo flares. There is a fitment issue happening on the side markers so the guy installing it for me will be working on her this week after work hours. She should be on the road by this coming weekend.
Check it check it!

I know cuz last year no one had any issues and I park my 8 there everyday. If you guys want I can cone off parking up front. Just let me know.
Let me know if you want a room via pm. I will hold however many rooms you guys need under my name with out a credit card! when you show up to check in you will need a credit car or debit card. Friday June 19th, a caravan from California is being organized by Jedi. Please contact him for information.
Friday June 19th the caravan from Utah will meet for breakfast and hopefully get on the road by 11am. Contact 04RX8gr or RaleighRX8 for more information.
Friday June 19th @ 5pm till 9pm: General meet in the parking lot of In & Out on West Sahara about 1 mile west of I15 (normal local meeting spot). Directions: Exist I 15 @ Sahara West, travel west on West Sahara for approximately one mile to In & Out 2900 West Sahara *Fuel available within 1/8 mile of In & Out: 7/11 is 1/16 mile east of In & Out, Chevron 1/8 mile west of In & Out also has a car wash, Rebel 1/8 mile west of In & Out.
Prior to the start of the Saturday scenic tour you will need to have a full tank of fuel. The area we are going to has extremely limited fuel access. The total tour is about 130 miles
Friday June 19th @9pm until ?:At 9pm sharp we will be leaving the lot and going to Dicks at the Excalibur for food and drink. http://tinyurl.com/ar5ycr Travel map from In & Out: http://maps.google.com/maps?f=d&sour...9&ie=UTF8&z=14
Saturday morning June 20th @ 10am till 2pm (aprox): We will again meet at the In & Out parking lot on Sahara for a scenic drive to and around Lake Mead culminating in a no host lunch at the Henderson Fiesta Hotel & Casino. There is a buffet (up stares) and a Denny's inside for your pleasure. I suggest that you bring a few bottles of water with you as it will be warm and very little humidity.
PLEASE NOTE:The economy in Nevada has effected our drive. Part of our run is thru a State Park (Valley of Fire) and when I originally layed out the course you did not have an entrance fee to drive thru the park. Now the State is short of money and they are collecting even to drive thru. The fee is $6.00. AJ, Armin and I have looked at alternative access roads and have come to the conclusion that due to the twistys getting to the park and the actual beauty of the park that we are still going to use this road. Unfortunately this will require a $6.00 outlay per car.I hope that this does not effect anyones enjoyment of the scenic tour
Saturday evening June 20th @ 7pm until ??: No host get together at the Hof Brau for good times and some good BS. Last year this was a very popular get together.
Sunday: Nothing planned but the trip home.

Oh and who has the Winning Blue RX8 with the blue lipped wheels and the license plate that reads NOPSTNZ (translates no pistons?)? Just saw you on the highway heading towards the airport, nice ride man. Did you have to repaint your trunk to get ride of the emblems or were you able to remove them cleanly somehow?

I could be down for one of the nights. I don't really know anyone so I might be a little on the quiet side. No much to say about my car either since she is all show no go.

IF Kasumi is done by then, which she should be, I will show up for one of the nights. Can't really dedicate the full weekend to it though. Thanks for the invite.

LOCAL MEET SCHEDULE
I feel that if we have a scheduled meeting time and day we could get a turn out. I considered twice per month with staggered days but felt that twice may put a crimp on some life styles. As of July 2009 we will have a (one) scheduled meeting on the third Friday of every month. The scheduled meeting will take place every month and will start out at the In & Out parking lot on West Sahara and will start at 7pm. Some months there will / may be trips to various locations or to get food. I do not enjoy setting by my self so some of you need to show up every month For the next few weeks I will be open to discussion as to the day and the time.
I know that some of you work strange hours and accommodations to the side trips can be made for you.
The first meet will be Friday July 17th 2009 (third Friday). Make some plans so that you will be there.

I am looking for a local wheel/tire/accessory store that handles ASA wheels. I know about tire rack and do not care to use them as I want someone local I can work with. I don't mind using someone that can get them but I require the wheels be in town next week. Just thought one of you might know.
So I'm going to TAO tonight for my lil sisters birthday with 13 of her girlfriends. If any of you guys want to come hit me up so I can put you on the guest list. Peace!
RX8 & RX7 owner
Seriously, I might show up on SAT morning for the STATES meet! I work friday and dont get off till 2 a.m. So I probably will drive straight there! Whats the link for this meet?
Edit: I found the link!

^^ Thanks! I've got the Tein S springs just chilling waiting to be installed. I had to see how low I was going with the kit before putting them in though. After seeing her stance now I am positive that I can put the springs on and still clear car wash rails and not bottom out every intersection.

Most of you have seen my stock rims that have been polished. They do not have any discernible rash but do need a little polishing up. I have them up for sale here in the local thread. PM me for pricing. If I don't get any takers locally then I will put them up nationally (at a higher price than locally).
