well with it being Father's Day that Sunday, i dunno if i can commit to that undertaking for now... If I can, it would need to be early in the morning and I doubt that all of them would be able to do that since they'll most likely be out doing the Vegas thing Saturday night.... ya feel me? As far as Fri & Sat...that might be a possibility... so i may show up

we're all doing well just tired, baby's fine, 8's running fine...G's been working trying to get OT since im off work for maternity/fmla leave till june 8. my phone is out of service, but his phone is on. i think he's off this fri/sat or thurs/fri...something like that. i'll have him give u a call

 

Hey guys, how's it? I've been driving my 8 for about 3 years. Haven't been on the forum in a while. My car is still stock, red, 6 speed mt. Getting some new wheels tomorrow and looking to throw an exhaust and intake on it soon. Do you guys have meets around town? Phil, you car is sick, super clean.

 

nMe1, good to hear from you. Welcome to the Forum. We do have some meets now and then but familys and emergencies have cut them to a few and far between. Just keep this thread in mind for any notice of a meet. If your interested on June 19th & 20th there is a big meet here in Vegas. Just the same old, how's everything with you? I've heard that you've moved or something? If so, you still close by or what?

We're always happy to have new people join our local group.. As you've said, you've been on this forum for a while now, so I'm sure you're already aware by now of all the aftermarket parts available for the RX-8. If not, feel free to ask questions, I'm sure the group will be as helpful as possible to assist you with your questions. What year and color is your RX-8 by the way? Any pictures of you car with the new wheels mounted?

That's not far at all.. How do you like your new place?

As far as changes to my car, not much has changed for now.. But, I will changing a lot of things, I've already started test fitting a 09 part on the car. Here is some teaser pictures for now..

 

Phil I texted your phone Armin isn't picking up his phone or returning my messages. I went by his house and his car was there but I think he was asleep.

 

What's everyone doing today?! You guys have been that busy eh? Well in case I haven't mentioned, our Element got totaled last week... got hit while turning left from a driver that was driving/speeding on the shoulder/turning/emergency lane. I'm ok for the most part, got banged up a bit--no lacerations... just soft tissue strains, pulls and soreness. I am seeing a Chiro--they've been doing great...

Anette--good to hear from you guys... that lil one is a handful, but the reward is priceless! Bet Gil didn't work this hard to get extra $ for mods... ...its truly a blessing though!

Armin--leave it like that... so it looks like a pirate! ARRRRRRRRRGH!

I feel that if we have a scheduled meeting time and day we could get a turn out. I considered twice per month with staggered days but felt that twice may put a crimp on some life styles. As of July 2009 we will have a (one) scheduled meeting on the third Friday of every month. The scheduled meeting will take place every month and will start out at the In & Out parking lot on West Sahara and will start at 7pm. Some months there will / may be trips to various locations or to get food. I do not enjoy setting by my self so some of you need to show up every month. For the next week I will be open to discussion as to the day and the time.

I know that some of you work strange hours and accommodations to the side trips can be made for you.

 

What happened? I post about a future meet and no one even posts comments or about anything else? I am begining to think I am the thread killer

^WHy a lot of pppl dont like them. WIth the current tailights I can spot an 8 in the night or day immediately! Easily in the night...

 

ill be honest here I used to like going to the meets cus ppl were always doing things to their cars and always something new, since the economy has gone down I have zero money to put into my car. its made meets a lot less interesting for me.

Well since the wifey is driving the 8 for now, i gotta find some time to prep it up for a meet... and time has been scarce lately. I can play it by ear for the most part in showing up for meets... my 8 has been assigned to daily duty.
