actually the kit is getting done right now...the guy said I should have it back on thursday at the latest...yay lol. FINALLY. woohoo

 

thinkin of moving to vegas from the bay area. you guys have meets often? whats it like? from reading this forum it seems like noone pays the 8 any attention or shows any respect..

 

There are plenty of RX8's in town, but the RX8 online community hasn't grown to that critical mass where it starts adding members on its own. N. and S. California already have.

I'm sure Vegas won't be too far behind.

About time.. LOL Are you just getting it installed or are you getting it painted, too? Either way, looking forward to see it done. Do you still have your CF hood or did that get fucked up in the accident?

 

Like Joe said.. Vegas won't be too far behind because we are starting to get more organized, trying to get everybodys information, etc. There wasn't that many 8's in Vegas, but recently there has been a lot of them popping out of no-where. I've seen a few today, one was all black on black, with a limo tint and had a big red japanese letter on his back windshield. Also, seen a female driving a Galaxy Gray RX8 lowered with some nice rims. Besides that, I'm sure here soon we'll start having official RX8 meets. It might be weekly, it might be monthly.. Like I said, we're still trying to get organized first, before we do meets and drives. Cheers

Hello all Henderson/Vegas RX8 owners. Im moving to Henderson in July to start medical school and can't wait!!! I was in Vegas earlier this week and spotted two silver RX8s on Tuesday (3/20). One i saw in front of the Rio and the other traveling southbound on I-215. Anyways, i hope there are meets down there that i can go to. I have a 2006 velocity red and love it!!

 

We are working on oranizing right now and still getting a head-count of all the people. So, far we have about 20 locals that post on here, that's already enough people to start doing meets. It's just a matter of time before we start the meets!

Ya ima put up pics as soon as the mesh and all that gets done I was so pissed off this weekend...I kept getting compliments from strangers on my lights (neons), but didnt get any on the kit...grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

and ta tell u the truth, i havent even looked at the veilside hood...i had my heart set on the seibon one for so long that i havent even really looked at many others lol

 

You're a true ricer girl.. Especially with those neons on the RX8. HEHEH The only reasons you're not getting compliments on the kit is because they all already saw mine. But, you should of had your mesh grille before you got it installed and painted. As far as the hood goes, Veilside is a nice option to go with the body kit. I don't know, if you know where Regulate is.. But they have the TSII CF at their store, might wanna go and check it out.
