I'm feeling much better! gonna take the 8 for a wash, meet the wifey for lunch, pay a few (or a lot of) bills, and maybe do some pool time! (gotta work on my pale-looking, farmers tan having @$$... all in private confines of my backyard (so i don't offend anyone! hahahahaha!)

I heard that rx8s break in the hot summer heat. is there any way to protect my car? i change and add the oil constantly, only use 91 oct gas and i take care of it but is there anything that i can do to assure me that my car will be ok?

The lip looks great, definitely interested in maybe getting it. Haven't decided 100% yet, but we'll see what happens..

As far as my car goes, it runs. It has a brand new motor in it with only 4,000 miles on it. I got 2 of my wheels mounted and balanced on the new wheels, I just have to wait until Fri-Sat. to get 2 more tires and get those mounted on the new wheels. Besides that, I just gotta get my alignment done, register and insure the car & I'm done! I need to get all this done by end of the month.

good news...i ordered the bpillars ive been talking bout forever from rx8strakes.com; ordered the front splash mudguards from azexpressparts on ebay; ordered so far 1 set of sparkplugs from mazsport, then have to order Phils replacement set on payday ....can't wait can't wait can't wait.

 

Which B-Pillar's did you guys order? The all piano black or the one with the little chrome rotary logo? As soon as I'm done fixing my 8, I wanna order the all piano black B-Pillar.. It's like $50 plus $5 for S&H, right?

Ambient temp in the 8 was 115 degrees today when I got off work. I need to do the hood ventilation mod done soon.

 

I know your in BFE AJ but I have a extra set of hood spacers. You can have a set. Installing it is commensence. Let me know whats cracking mang

Thats B.S. man, get the fan mod, run some premix, use 5-W30 oil and keep an eye on your oil. Cant go wrong.
