I know, most people always like to save a penny like myself, but if it's something you just like and gotta have.. Then the price and name doesn't really matter! Brand name or not, it really doesn't matter..

never said there was, but if i could get 20hp for $400 with a cheap brand and the brand name also puts out 20hp but for $1k.... why spend $1K?

You make a good point, but there could be other reasons that I would still go with the name brand. I can't think of any thing right now to use as an example so your senerio holds more water than mine.

 

Well you really got me on the factory warranty - hell I haven't had factory since two weeks after I purchased the 8. I was referring to manufactures warranty. Everything I've seen on your car is class looking. I think that I would not have invested in a s/c that did not have a good name behind it and a name that I can call and talk to. There were a few that were touted but they were Japanese with no warranty and no way for a guyging (spelling I am sure is off) to talk to the manufacturer.

i agree with you but i feel bad for ppl when they put a lot of money into something and they obvioulsy like it a lot and some ppl are like

to me i just would rather not post anything if i have nothing good to say.
As for brand name stuff, i would love a set of advan t5's one day. Theyre not even that expensive compared to some wheels but the ones i wnt are 800 a wheel. One day ill get them.

 

wernt yours like 550 a wheel? those are darn expensive dude. 350 is my max for wheel price.

btw i think your wheels are my favorite for the rx8 of all time, not on a red 1...but for blue i think they were....just amazing looking

 

I'm with you Anthony, I would rather not post anything if I have nothing good to say. One thing I find funny is when someone posts a picture of their car and it has a big spoiler, most of them responde with "get rid of the spoiler", "I don't like the spoiler", or "that is ugly".. I mean, if it's not on your car why do you have to tell someone to get rid of your spoiler, or you don't like it. Some people are just weird..

I know, Mike.. But, come on.. Some people spend their hard earned money on those mods because they like it, and then you have people putting them down because they dislike it. Everyone has different taste, and because you don't like someone elses taste doesn't mean you should pretty much tell them it's ugly or get rid of it, it's like saying that's a waste of money.
