Here is some cell phone pictures of the intake..
As far as the Greddy Struts go, I'm willing to sell them both for $150. I paid $150, plus s&h just for one. Cost me $350 roughly..

Built for performance and show, the Typhoon® Air Intake System is a free-flowing mandrel-bent aluminum tube induction system designed to fit many sport compact performance vehicles. Each kit is proven on a rear-wheel dynamometer to increase horsepower and torque. Typhoon intakes come in one of three designs; cold air intakes (CA), short ram intakes (SR), or complete cold air (CCA) intakes which can be configured as either a cold air intake or a short ram intake. Available in an assortment of powder coated colors and polished aluminum, these kits are sure to please in every way. They come with an oversized High-Flow conical air filter designed to provide increased surface area and dust capacity. This extra surface area provides even more airflow at lower restriction than a standard K&N O/E replacement filter that is limited to the size of the factory air box. The oversize air filter also captures more dirt increasing the service life before a cleaning is required (up to 100,000 miles). Overall, the sound that comes from the engine with the K&N intake is just pure sex. Even if you have an aftermarket exhaust, you'll still hear more sound coming from the engine bay. This thing is loud!!!

so we did meet today, and it was worth it, met a couple of really cool guys off here, then we drove to bonnie springs, had some food and then took the red rock scenic route, which i had only done with my wife and not like jason (mx193) and nick (z00m-z00m) were doing, but they pushed me and it was nice to have some fun with the 8 and get a real feel for the car and what it can do...i only took a few pics i know that Nick took some real good ones. So im sure he'll be posting some more later.........

yeah Armin, mines the blue, Jasons was the black and Nicks was the silver. Nick had a really cool camera and was taking a lot of pictures, ones of us driving too.
I even mentioned that you was trying to get a meet for a while now.
Like you say, hopefully more will meet now.
I didnt know what to expect, but i had a good time. I found out good plac es to get my car cleaned, to get my Mazdaspeed body kit fitted, listened to their systems, which prompted me today to go get a sub installed with an amp and on monday im going to get speakers all installed.
But best of all, Nick and Jason really push their 8 when driving, and after spinning out within the first two weeks of driving the 8 i was hesitant to do so. But they both pushed me round Red Rock and it was really worth it. I was amazed at how well the car handled.
You need to come next time Armin

Sounds like everyone had a blast, too bad I couldn't be there. Right now, I'm trying to get my Mustang running first, I gotta deal with Ford every other day about my warranty and what not. As soon as I get that out of my way, I'm going to fix my RX-8. Not much of fixing as you would say, I just need some new wheels and tires. Also, get my alignment fixed, so until then I won't be attending any meets. Besides that, I'm happy Jason and Nick got you to push your 8 a little bit, the RX-8 is great at handling. In my own opinion, it's one of the best cars when it comes to handling.. 50-50 stability, just freakin' awesome! I use to push mine hard, going 120-130 on round corner's. (Not turns) But, I can't wait until I check everybody's ride out, see what everyone has done to their 8's. Still looking forward to see Phil's S/C 8 out, and see how much quicker it is now.

thats what Jason wanted to see, i wanna hear it too, no doubt im gonna see it then want it. How come you need two cars and what year is the mustang?
it handled amazing round the corners, i just need to get the ***** to do 60 and 70 round the corners like they did.

Hi, I just bought a new 07 RX8 a couple of weeks ago and stumbled across this site tonight. Wish I would have discovered your Red Rock drive earlier. Maybe next time, I think a stormy mica blue would have looked good in that line up.

Thank you for getting the run all setup. Ill be glad to do it again anytime. You guys both drove great
I remember when I did one of my first runs with Sam (lazi) I almost lost it a couple of times. It taught me to learn my car better.
Let me tell you my car was not liking the heat but didn't die on me. The lights I had lit up were TEMP (ac was on), Oil, Engine, AT, DSC (by choice) - Temp was fixed by turning AC off, added more OIL, and AT well I need a new transmission Just so happened this was the first time the AT light came on for me.
111,168 miles later my RX-8 still shines.
