Hi umm I just made a pair of hand made strakes thanks to this DIY :

Only problem is they came out great but i cant seem to get them the exact shape i want (which is the exact shape of the real OEM strakes) but I dont have any other strakes to compare them to and I have been trying for days and I cant seem to find any other Rx-8's driving around anymore! so is there anyone in LA or Pasadena That I could maybe meet and they could help me out with getting this done... I just wanna get it done

 

Soblazin, I have the ones from UK but they're installed on my car already.


Why not buy some from your local dealership and then just return them...

 

sup man, Im in Pasadena. If you come down to the local all car meet on wensday you can compare them with mine. I think there will be 1 - 2 other members going also!

I will be coming to the wednesday meets but this wednesday is the LAX Meet and I gotta show at that 1 You should come to that its just Rx-8's and 7's I do wanna compare them though.... maybe u could show urs a differnt Time and the getting strakes from the dealer and returning em... thats a great idea!

No, I think he wants to look at the OEM strakes and use those as a format or example to make his own strakes. Then return the OEMs after he is done.

Ah, i c... That doesn't sound so bad then. I'm not too into the look of the strakes myself, but it sounds like a fun project to do yourself. I'm in Alhambra, CA btw...

Im not trying to divert anyone from going there but the LAX meet is Wedensday night and we are cruising some awesome roads there too its only rotary cars soo you guyz should check this one out this week since its only 1 wednesday a month and then spend the rest of ur wednesdays at the pasadena one... and i live in pasadena soo
