Has anyone scheduled their recall services?
I tried setting up an appointment at Marina Motors in Capitola.
At first the service guy (Greg) claimed to have no knowledge of any recalls. Then when I provided recall numbers and more info, he acknowledged there was a recall but didn't know when the parts would come in. (This was the 17th so he should have gotten them.) I scheduled an appointment for the 21st provided the parts came in.
I was called today (19th) by another service rep who claimed that until the recall notice went out on the 27th, they would not be able to perform the recall on my vehicle. This sounds totally bogus.
Has anyone else scheduled--or even had--the recall work in the SF bay area?

I'm in the Kansas City area. I called yesterday and the dealer informed me that they had "recall kits" in to repair the cars on the lot but they would be receiving "recall kits" for existing customers starting next week. I was told to call back monday near COB for an update. If so I will schedule it for next week with my other laundry list of existing issues.

I got the Airbag Recall today. The sad fact, though, was that the reason I got it was that my car wouldn't start the other day and had to be towed in to the dealership.
The security immobilizer kicked in and wouldn't allow me to start the car. They had to replace the PCM (Primary Control Module ???) and reprogram the keys per Mazda.
There is nothing worse than seeing your baby being towed away...
I had to hold off on the Damper recall since they didn't have the parts yet.
