Any alcohol is always considered anabolic and will deteriorate muscle n' tissue however that's a bullet that i'm willing to take. (lets face it, most of us have been biting that bullet for years )

However my diet (ketogenic) focuses on limiting carb consumption down to 20g a day. Beer traditionally has any where from 15g's to 35g's each whereas vodka, whiskey n' rum do not have any.

I'm actually getting back into power lifting.

I'm up to 320lbs box squats 4x8, curling 50lbs ea., bench 275lbs...

Once i'm over this diet i'm gonna try n' get my cardio back up. I'm barely getting sub 10 minute miles

I prefer doing HIIT over standard cardio tho...which is probably why my mile time sucks. It gets boring after a while

^i know that feeling, i used to get bored of running, but now i find it more amusing, IMHO its all about the music you listen to while running, my playlist gives me motivation to push for 4 miles plus. i feel like i wear out during the last seconds of a song, and BOOM another song kicks in and the beat drop and its like i get the massive burst of energy.

yeah, i ain't ******' with shin splints. I thought i was gonna have to have surgery back in HS because it got really bad for me. I need better shoes n' probably start heat wrapping my leg.

Good lookin' out on Big 5. I'll probably stop by the one on Harbor in GG. My nephew's friend works there n' might be able to give me a hook up
