square law of postings

ZoomZoom! don't you know how it works?

yeah - It's the square law of posts.

See, you'll get your car (in minutes) = (number of posts on RX-8 forum)^2

This new guy, "Bong" wait in minutes is = (15 posts)^2 which = 225 minutes; you see that is why he has to go get his car NOW.

Now ZoomZoom, your gonna have to wait awhile since (765 postings)^2 = 585,225 minutes = 9,753.75 hours = 406.40 days = 1.11 years from now .... UNLESS.... you stop posting.

.... then it could take even longer

and by the way,

I hear Canada has some other "trinomial" factoring in there that you don't even want to go there on.

Dealer also called

Santa Monica dealer phoned me Sat. afternoon. He says my car was released from port on Thurs. and it might arrive Sat. for pickup (it didn't), if not, it will come on the truck Monday.
We'll see...

Angry No car for me... (today anyways)

Sorry guys, no car for me (today anyways).
Long story made short, due to mazda's mistake I actually have ordered two cars from two different dealers. Basically my 'backup' dealer (alhambra mazda) called me, so I went to see. But the price was ridiculous, $39000!!! for a fully loaded. So I have to wait for my primary dealership which have guaranteed MSRP.

btw, alhambra service sucks, they hung up on me twice and was extremely rude.

Soz again guys!!

Yeah I think that is high. Fully loaded comes to $36,144, so that is about $3,000 over MSRP.

Now if you bought all of the accessories, you know that could explain it. Afterall $250.00, for the fender strakes and $270.00 for the aluminum door sills and.... Oh and you want them installed right?

I had originally placed my on-line pre order with Alhambra because they were the closest dealer to where I was going to live by the time the car was delivered, then the next day they called and said they wanted 2g's over MSRP, so I went to Irvine which is near where I was living at the time. I'm going to have to drive 60 miles to pick up my car, but at least I got it at MSRP.

shouldve went to browning in cerritos. wouldve been closer and wouldve been msrp no mark-up. plus the service is great. perhaps you should take your car there for the service work. i highly recomend them!!:D
