That is a good sound. But is it possible to cruise quietly when needed? How many decibels at 1 meter are we talking about?
I might do something like that if they can quiet it enough with resonators.

heh. I kinda doubt that.
My car was loud as fck with the borla + catless midpipe (with resonator). With straight pipes all the way through, you should be several times louder than what I had.
And what I had was so bad I had to remove the borla and go back to the stock exhaust that same day.

He has the full catalytic converter, just straight piping after the cat.
I found a custom muffler shop and showed them your photos. Being temporarily in IL I was lucky to find them amongst the farms and cornfields. They can repair the hole in my existing stainless exhaust, plus build me a straight pipe exhaust like yours. It will cost me $300 for tips and pipes for a 3 hour job, if I reuse the middle pipe on my existing exhaust. If I want to build a new middle pipe, it will be $400.
What piping did you choose? Aluminized, 304 stainless steel, or the 409 stainless steel? This shop only has the 409 stainless which turns brown, or the aluminized piping which will rot out after some time. They do not have 304 piping nor silencer tips. They also do not have a mandrel bender, so I'm worried about not having mandrel piping like all the production exhausts do.
I notice your middle pipe is custom with two outlets. Any reason why you had two independent pipes coming out, rather than a Y pipe? What inlet and outlet diameters is your piping?

I'm not so sure of the "type" of metal used. But the custom middle pipe is so that i could maintain 2 1/2" inlet and 2 1/2" outlets cuz most conventional y pipes have a size reduction in the outlet. The tips i bought myself from pepboys. The tips costed $64 after taxes and the muffler shop that did my work (A1 Muffler) in Sierra Vista charged me $165 for the custom y pipe, piping, and labor. So total I spent $229 and am very happy wiith my results. But it was important to me to have 2 1/2 inch piping the whole way through. Everything else is still stock still got the stock cats and everything else. I have a catless midpipe but thats for when i get a turbo its too loud otherwise.

I have an appointment for next Saturday, 8:30 AM. Should take 3 hours. I have the ability to make a nice sound recording, but all my microphones and gear are in storage back in CA. I'll have to wait until sometime next year to make a decent sound recording. Thanks for posting the sound clip. I'll take pics for future use, but not sure if I'll actually post them yet when I can't make a sound clip because people start whining.
My current exhaust has melted through the shrouds, and may start eating through my painted bumper on the drive to FL. I don't want to pay $250 for the Mazda chrome exhaust finishers when $300-$400 solves the problem and gives me a totally sick, totally loud sound that can totally own anybody. I don't know, it might even be loud enough to own myself while driving.
