Hi everyone! I'm new to the forum and new to owning an 8... I just bought it SATURDAY!!! WOO HOO!!! I'm still researching exactly what I have, but in a word it's AWESOME!!!!!

Anyways, yup, its strato blue, i washed it yesterday. I have the work cut out for me, i got to seal cracks and replace a lot. I'll start posting up pics.

This has been a good week. My wheels arrived, I think I have a buyer for my Hiros, and my Final Gear is due to arrive on Friday from UPS. Just thought I'd share.

glad you're having a good week mike. i've been working my butt off to compensate all the money i lost on the ms front end. My next mod will be 3 more ms shocks and some side skirts.

hahaha, i bought 4springs and 1shock from a guy from the forums. His gf bought him a rear shock and thought it came in pairs. well, he got it and was like okae. and then he sold his 8 and i got the 4 springs and 1 shock. thats the story.

Well, i have no clue on how it got there.

I have a thing where if i love a certain thing, i can see it from a far away distance and though i passed it up, some details stuck out to me like where the corner lights fit in and the larger ducts.

And mike, i told you the story, haha.

so what are you gona do with that front end if you already have a genuine mazdaspeed front?

 

Can't hurt to have a backup. Hopefully won't run into any more ping pong tables.

 

haha, hopefully not! Well, im going to repair, primer it and hopefully sell it in the near future (of coarse providing the history of this bumper). But yeah, if i cant sell it, back up. I'll put it on everytime i track my car. No fear of damaging it at all. haha

 

god!!!! whats up with the freaking console *****/buttons!?!?! so my air temp **** goes loose and i figure out the plastic in the center is broken so its not holding on. and then my front and rear defroster buttons are cracked (which was also the case when i bought the car but the dealer replaced it for me). do you guys have the same problems? because i'm having trouble thinking that i made those defroster buttons crack. ive only had to ue the defroster once or twice since i bought the car in march. As for the air temp i never touch it because i always have it at the coldest

 

never had any of those problems.

 

never had those problems either. Go back to the dealership is my recomendation and just get new ones.

Did anyone see Taladega Nights? Its looks silly, but I spoke with someone who actually saw it, and they said it was hilarious.
