Pictures have to wait until tomorrow as it's too dark out right now. Suffice it to say they look better than I thought they would, though I didn't buy the wheels for their appearance.

I have some interest in the rims and tpms, but if they fall through let me know if any of you are interested, I will of course take a local route instead of shipping

Any curbage on the wheels? I have four stock wheels with Dunlops that I plan to keep as a daily drive set after I scrub in my Advans, but one wheel is dinged up a little bit. I had planned to try my hand at repairing it, but if you want to arrange a trade + cash or something I might be tempted to go that route.

I'm not really interested in giving you more stuff to store. I was looking to flip one stock wheel with Dunlops mounted for another in better condition with some cash on the side to sweeten the deal, but if that's too much trouble then I understand.

The difference is I'm keeping mine to use as daily drive wheels while he's looking to sell his outright. I don't feel like wearing out the Advans on the daily commute.

I'm currently scrubbing in the tires so I won't know for 500 miles. Initial impressions are that it's slightly quieter, the ride is a bit smoother, the steering effort is lighter (despite changing to an offset that should make it heavier), and the car is a touch slower to respond. I think this might be due more towards the lighter weight of the wheel and the mold release compound coupled with the full thread depth though.

Hey Lyian, did the dealer fix the issue you had with the shifter? Anymore smell? And would you like to help me change my trans fulids when you got some time?

I don't think what Hayward did will fix the smell. My opinion is it'll come back in time. However I can't just go back and tell them that as there really isn't a problem right now. Jeff is easy to work with anyway so I'll just bide my time. I can help you with the tranny fluid next week. I'm looking to touch up my stock wheels, what to help with that?

For sure! just give me a time and a place. Hey, since the car will be up in the air, if we have time we can install my rear springs too.

Works for me. I have an appointment with Speed Inn at 11 on Saturday so I'll be in Hayward anyway.
