damn, san bruno.. bout a 41 mile drive.. probably a 10 minute drive or so.. well I'm working a 56 hr work week this week, plus the IRS owes me $$$... so i can probably afford the trip if other join in

p.s. theres going to be a bay area cruise soon!!! MARCH 6th around 3:30 to 4 to meet up around the great mall area or so, head up into the mountains. will keep everyone posted if anyone is interested

Hello all,

Just thought I would post my experience on here with A & B Trailer Hitch. After seeing several hitch installs for the RX8 on this forum, I decided to let A & B give it a go... the result is very impressive, with a hitch that comes out of the rotary "hole" symbol in the middle back bottom plastic part of the rear bumper.

My motivation for getting the hitch is to be able to use the RX8 to take my bikes around when I go on rides. I will post some photos later but for now in case anyone in the San Francisco Bay Area wants to get a solid custom hitch done for their RX8 and they want someone experienced to do it, A & B Trailer Hitch is the place.

They also did two other cars for me in the past (a G35 and a G37). If you look on their yelp page you'll also see they've done several Bentlys and a good share of BMWs. Feel free to PM me if you want to see how it looks in person, etc.

 

street bike or dirt bike? I'd be interested in hauling my dirt bikes around since my dad doesnt let me borrow his truck.

 

I'm usig a rack to carry my mountain bikes, but you could probably haul some dirt bikes if they were on a light weight trailer.

 

ah, thats kind of bike lol. im sure it could haul an extra 500 lbs or so.. as its just me without 3 ppl each weighing 200 lbs

ive been going to every meet since the beginning of this year, and according to the co-founder.. Jon disappeared. and i enjoy the meets very much, but.. its not quite as flocking as socal

lol, i was just spreading it from the 7club into the 8club. user cosmo7 over at 7club brought it up first, and i liked the idea, and apparently a lot of people are interested in it. and if the total head count amount of people, give or take a few, actually shows up, then itd be the biggest meet/cruise i've ever been to.. until USCM in april

theres always saturday night, as thats the only next time im free ahaha. but as long as you dont have no stickers on the bumper like me, you should be ok. in fact i was at the gas station and some guy was walking around my car while i filled up and was complimenting it and i told him i just through on the stickers so i wouldnt see the defects in it, and he said "no no its cool, it looks like a race car!"

ahahaha, they were right. stickers do stay on the track..
