Whats up 8 owners! Just figured I'd show some love to the NorCal 8 owners seeing as in a year or two I hope to be one myself. Currently driving my FC right now.

I deal with this all the time. Tow it and it will start. You can not push start it in this situation. I already have done this on 6 RX8's..lol

Nah, I did what matt suggested. Kill the starter....lol

seriously, I held down the gas pedal and cranked it for 30 seconds.

Then started it without pushing the gas pedal. AFter three tries it worked.

I probably killed the starter. lol

The manual says only 8 to 7 seconds, so I tried that over and over for an hour last night and it diden't work.

Hey everyone! I have a 2004 Mazda RX8 6 speed. I leased it new, fell in love and paid it off. I had brought it to the Mazda dealer in Stockton, CA where I live since I have owned it. It is no longer under warranty and I am ready to break the chains of the dealer service center. I need help finding someone I can trust out here in the Valley to take good care of my baby. Any suggestions?

rotor sport in pleasenton is your best bet
