I'm in the early planning stages of setting up a Nor Cal Dyno Day. This would see Mazdamaniac and the BHR crew coming up here to tune and install goodies.

Does anybody know of someone who has installed the Tein edfc for there rx-8? My edfc when i tried to install it would not stay powered on. I was hoping to find someone with it already installed and then i could could try my controller with there setup.

I've only had my 8 for a few months, anyone want to recommend what the first mod would be that would be a good bang for the buck. Can be either power performance or suspension upgrade, I have a million Ideas, just want some feed back on where I should begin.

I am currently thinking one of these 3 options

1. Pullies
2. Exhuast
3. Tires

Not trying to get nocked, just want an opinion for a starting point.

Oh and I have an 04' 6spd touring and sports package

try to get a short shifter. or tire if you really need them.

first mod is easy.. axial flow engineering short throw shifter. It's also called the AFE or the RP shifter.

Definitely get the short shifter, then suspension. Forget the other stuff, they don't do anything besides change the sound.
