I have to do more research on it. 2008 modles are drive by wire, so not sure how this will affect the kit. Comptech is researching prototypes for 2008+ s2000's.

I think i'm going to repo the rx8 today. She's put more miles the last two months than I did the past year.

 

how are you going to repo a car that someone bought from you? and it's your own damn fault for letting the 8 go.

 

She's like a family friend. The car is still under my name. She's made three months of payment on it already, but she's treating it like a commuting car--5k miles in since Feb 10....wtf???!!! I'll fix up the MR2 and she can drive that for a while.

 

Haha, at least somebody's driving the car nowadays. As I recall the reason why you didn't put mileage on it was because of a constantly dead battery.

ok 5k is rough though.

 

5k since feb 10th.... about 100 miles a day...not horrible, but thats some commute to make in an 8 everyday at 17-20mpg at best

 

Nah, not yet. I test drove a really sweet one at the STEALership yesterday though. I walked off because they were being too aggressive. They told me if I didn't buy it today for 20k, someone else was waiting to get it. The car was a 05 BB with 49k on the OD. I was like, uhhhh ok, guess you're gona have to sell it to the other guy then lol

 

a dealer sold a 2008 CR for 27k a month ago. Go check out Steve Hopkins Honda on El Camino.

doubt you will see any 8s there are usually only 1 or 2. i wont have mine there this year but i will have it at the alameda meet on the 11th

 

Just came back from fast and the furious and I thought the story line was better than the previous ones, but one draw back was the lack of nice cars...
