You guys need to move some meets to Thursday night.

 

you guys need to move the meet to sat night, too many people just cant make it there at 7pm friday

you'll have a bigger turn out if it was moved to a time when its very easy for people to plan for it.

i- club meets every tues at 10 or 11, but thats stupid. but they still have 20+ cars because at that time, its easy to be there.

 

its not just i-club anymore, ive been going to their meets for a couple of years already. anyways, evo club meets up there, mr-2 club drops by and local "race groups" meet up there every tuesday. its more like an all around car meet now

 

Yes exactlly, but alot more people show up because of the time, it's just easier.

Friday at 7pm is just bad. Thats why the turn-out is few cars.

It would be a better turn out if we were to look at where everyone is and pick a point in the middle.

As for me late Sat is good in the tri-city area. But I can't make friday 7pm, wish I could though.

 

7pm was decent when i started the first meet, it was a good time for most that went before and apparently stayed pretty strong. the i club meets usually start around 7 to 8 when cars first get there. i get there around 9ish and stay there till around 11 to even 12ish. Im guessing the reason the turn out is good is the group and how it expanded. it was first just i club, me and a buddy of mine with an FC started going, then one of the iclub people started bringing his miata. evo club met there cause they wanted to crash i club but ended up combining sort of, then mr2's came and local groups came and we always just talked to what not, it was more of a gathering of people with the same passions.

the 8club had the going, when the matrix people showed up but friday's are cramped over there unlike tuesdays. it just depends how dedicated im guessing because a lot of the iclub go out of there way to go there, to meet up with their fellow club members, clashing schedules makes it difficult unless people make the time

 

I'll be there tonight. I'll hopefully be able to swing back home and pick up the 8. its on it friday cause it's the RX8 date night. And its because most of us work M-F so staying out thurs isnt so fun. And i have class Tues and Thurs night.

 

Anybody have objections to going to texas roadhouse? Leo wants some prime rib again.

Damn it, the dentist said to take it easy and eat soft food for 2 day. I've been up since 2 in the morning so I won't be at the meet guys.

Alright folks, who wants to meet and go for a drive before xmas. I just occurred to me we can take the long drive to Meza Luna -an Italian restaurant in Half Moon Bay-and eat some excellent food.

I'd most likely order the NY steak though, trust me they're Italian but they do know how to make a delicious steak.

How about Sat the 20th @ 1pm. We meet up at the Skyline and 84 crossing? We then drive on the newly, freshly paved 84 to 1 and then up to Half MOon bay.

..now if I can just keep my RX-7 running until the 20th, I may actually be able to make it up to Alice's for the drive.

 

You guys know I plan drives for the 626 club about once every month and a half right? If you want I can help with the planning for this drive, but if it's the 20th I won't make it.
