It's just that we aren't coldhearted bastards who'd be willing to strip the parts off of a friend's car just because he happens to be overseas serving the Air Force. (hint, it was a joke)

If you need coilovers I'd suggest going to Rishi or Paul @ Rotorsport and picking up a set of new ones at a fair price. that way you don't get shitty used parts just to pinch a couple of pennies and end up with a snapped shock.

 

So I got my LC7 back from RMA with a clean bill of health.

Who wants it? I'll part with it for 125.

 

oh, when i see part out and coilovers, i automatically jump on it now the way the forums are going. i got some great news though, driveline is providing me with some hks hipermax rs for around 1200. not bad at all for some great coilovers. if anyone wants whats left of my mazdaspeed coilovers (fronts are still good, rear is only good for parts), let me know

Yeah, I have a 8 as well as a 10th Anniversary Edition (10thAE) 88 RX-7 Turbo.

The four FC's is probably Nader (Funkspectrum on the boards). He usually hangs out at Aroma's in Railroad square.

I'ma head out to one of these meets one day, I'm all the way in Sac but I like the fact you guys have a nicely nit group so it sounds like it'd be fun. I have connections with Full Funtion (FFTec) so I'm familiar with where Union City is.. Roughly 1 hr 30-2hrs

 

hang out, grab dinner, movie sometimes.. gang rape Rob..... you know, the usual.

What oil do you use and is it synth. or not.

I use 5w30 conventional since that's the oil mazda recommends for the 8 in every other country then the US. I also have the Mazdamaniac Cobb Access Port that increases the OMP flow rate... it does a ton of other things as well but the increased oil flow is one of them.

 

We were just coming from tiny tots That guy in the silverado was about to ram you, bastard. I was gonna speed up and catch up to you but I had the family with me-I get yelled at if I do that stuff.


Alterego, dude I hear you on the oil. Ultimately I made the decision to stay on the synthetic side of things. I chose Idemitsu, it's a synthetic blend specifically formulated for rotaries that also burns clean. I'm now also using Premix-1/2 oz per gallon of gas.

Next up is an upgraded ignition system-Coils, cables, spark plugs-to get an effective burn and keep the ports clean.

 

I was hoping that silverado hit me, would have been nice to get some free body kit pieces.

While in warranty, i'll sick with dino oil, but im about to switch to Royal Purple. To each their own really. You can go either way, just make sure you do it reguarlly and check the oil levels between fill ups.
