A coworker of mine picked up an 08 TI Grey the other day. He's looking for aux in adapters now. I'm gonna try and get him to come to one of the meets.

Are they paying for Gas?
Car can be delivered to wherever you want until this Friday. Otherwise, it'll be in Los Altos Hills.

I'll pay for gas as long as it's reasonable. If you bill me for $200 I know something is up!

I told you you can do stupid things with them. Let me know what happens when you finally get them to break loose. I haven't managed it yet and I'm curious to know if I'll have any audible warning. Actually, i think i got them to chirp a bit when i took a trip down that downhill road on the doc wong route that has all those off camber turns... They're incredibly sticky.

That'd be nice to know if i was the kind of person who differentiated between colors like purple and mauve. A guy at my work bought an 8 is really the message I was trying to get across, but I can see how it'd be easy to get hung up on the whole color thing.

Well guys I did the zoom cleaner thing and it couldn't have been more of a pain in the *** for me. I ran into some unexpected trouble though, so it shouldn't take more then say a couple of hours like mention in the DIY.

Needless to say, after I sprayed the engine and plug everything back in. I had a freaking cloud of deadly smoke over my car. Nothing like the smell of fuel and gunk

Damn... too much work to clean the MS CAI... lol... Looked like fun though. Do the Hoen match the OEM HID better?

it took all of 5 mins to remove bumper... 5 mins to put it back on.. not counting the extra 2 minutes to plug in the fogs.

I had Hoens before.. and yes, they match the xenon headlamps nicely.

took and hour and a half to clean and dry the filter

It didn't burn out, I had a crack somewhere in the fog lamp housing that was letting water in... my fog looked like a half filled fish tank. When the dealer replaced the housing for free they also replaced the blub, so my new housing had a nice yellowish glow while the other side was white

Now everything is nice and white.

and yes, my car smiles often
