I met the central valley meet yesterday. I just did my oil change and was taking my car out to calaveras with my girlfriend when we ran into them coming the other way. We stopped and said hi, checked out everyones rides. It was quite a coincidence.

Okay we are one month away from the Norcal dyno day with MM and BHR.
Details:
Date: Augest 2nd

Yes they mosty do domestics and dont sell things for our cars but they guys were happy to work with us to make it a good experiance.

Price. You can do it one of 2 ways.
1- If you only want to get your car dyno tested it is $50 for 3 pulls which includes AFR.
2- If you are getting your vehicle tunned, the cost is up in the air. Basicly the dyno for the day is $800 so subtract the amount of money from option #1 from $800 and devide by the number of people getting tunned. So if 5 pick option 1 ($250) then $550 is remaining and 7 pick option 2 the total for option 2 is ($550/7) $80 per person. I dont expect the cost of option 2 to go higher then $80. If the turn out is better the cost goes down.

If you pick option #2 you still need to pay for the tunning. The cost depends on how many people are getting tuned. MM needs $650 to show up, so $650 devided by the number of people. So if only 2 of us are getting our vehicles tunned it is going to be expensive. If you have an INT-x or you bought an AP from someone other then MM then shame on you and it is going to cost you $150 no matter how many people get there car tunned.

Deposits. I need to start collecting a deposit of $25 from everyone who is planning on going plus $50 for anyone who is getting a tune. Here is the deal with the deposit. If things happen and you can not make it, just let me know ASAP. If you let me know by July 16 I will refund the whole amount. After july 16 I will refund your money after I cover the cost of the event . Basicly I am not going to be out hundreds of dollars trying to put on an event for the club. I will accept money through paypal and I wont even charge a fee.

Send paypal money to shsupply@comcast.net Select money for Service/Other and subject is Deposit for Norcal dyno day and add in Dyno only or Dyno and tune.

The balance for the dyno day can be paid with paypal or when you show up via cash or certified funds. MM needs to be paid in full before he leaves for california. i will not make any money. Any extra will be used for food and drinks.

Me, my boss, and some random people from work are going to sears point on friday to do some drag racing. My boss has a pretty bad *** chevelle that runs high 9's on a good tank of gas, hahaha

It would be nice to see some 8's out there, even if you dont run. I have not decided if I am going to run or not, depends on how my clutch feels, but I would like to take one good run just to see what my time is for 1/4.

After pulling some map files out of my ***, I was able to get my Cobb AP to work.

My ******* dyno was able to tell the difference between Cobbs Stage1, and <CENSOR>'s Stage one.

Interesting....

Can't wait 'till I get this dyno-tuned.

Got my replacement front center speaker in today. Also did a little bit of ground loop hunting. I spliced a wire into the ground line for the stereo head unit, and ran it back to the grounds for the amps. I'm still getting obnoxious noise. I'm not even going to hook the center speaker up until i figure out what the hell is going on because the noise will drive me insane. I'm thinking of just putting ground loop isolators on the speaker lines.


A note to anyone who wants to replace this speaker. a 3.5 inch speaker can be made to fit with a bit of sand paper to file the hole a bit wider.
