Matt, wouldn't it just be easy to splice it into the same wire I put my footwells into? Leo was saying he could build me an LED strip, and I can just swipe some plastic here from work to build a case to protect them. That won't be for a while anyways, but I'm gonna look into it.

 

Dick, it'd be easier to splice into the wire that turns on and off your door lights.

 

You could use the footwell lights but I'd think the door lights would be easier to get to with your lambo kit.

They'll come on when you open the door, but also when you unlock the car.


PS NEVER has an engineer build you anything. They're thinkers, not builders. Although with his Bebe sized hands he might be able to reach through the drain plug on the sill to fish the wire for you.
