Jesus ******* christ people! LOL! leave me the **** alone. The jeep compass looks awesome, i could give 2 ***** about horsepower. As long as I am able to:
1. Pull a trailor with my motorcycle in the back
2. Fold the rear seats down to screw my bitches
3. Sleep in the back after a night at the office when i have to be back at 6am
4. Better gas mileage than the 8 (Leo, those quotes are bullshit for mileage)
5. Have room to move my **** when i move

Done, end of story.

Peace out

We can't leave you alone because you're buying a soccer mom vehicle.

Done, end of story.

The thing is I'm not sure if you're going to be able to tow anything dude. You need torque and HP for that.

I'm not trying to harrass you about this ****, I'm trying to make sure you don't end up making a mistake like with the 8. If it gets 19, it gets 19. *shrugs* Good luck.

If you want to tow **** buy a truck. Some trucks out there get better mph than our 8. And you wouldn't need to fold anything down to bang a woman.

Too bad the Jeeps are known to have really bad tranny's. My friends Liberty tranny went out on him 2 times, 30k and then 80k.

And yes... Leo, don't you know to not trust Edmund's? They are just the most trusted online site for vehicle information.

Tom, we are trying to help, we make fun of the cars you pick for a reason, if you were to choose a Toyota 4Runner, then we might leave you alone. But we really don't want to hear you complain about another car like you do your 8

Ok, let's say best case case scenario, you're right about the fuel economy.
You're not going to be able to tow a trailer behind her. The 2 major issues across the board I've seen about the compass are low torque/hp and questionable brakes. I wouldn't want to be towing extra weight and have no acceleration and shoddy brakes.

for what you want dude, buy a truck. Trucks are bad ***. hell give Dick and me some money and we'll raise your 8, make you a bed and give you a sexy looking rotary powered truck.

Dude I think she's in the 20's, and she does push the car frequently. I think if she didn't have a heavy foot it'll be high 20's.
I agree with the truck idea, buy an "used" pick up truck to haul you **** and bang chicks in. Like a '96 Tacoma SR5.

First off, laythor, don't be a homo.

Second, I apprieciate what you guys are saying and whatnot. If its a mistake to buy, then let me make that mistake. I'm still looking at other suv's too. I'm really liking the Ford Edge but not sure what the pricing will be like in march. As far as transmissions go, the thing comes with a lifetime warranty. I figure 1 of 2 things can happen. 1, I keep getting new standard transmissions. 2, I luckily get a compass svt transmission when they build one .

As far as my bike goes, I'm now thinking about selling it and getting my money plus some back, and buying a 93 Corrado and make it into a pimp *** ride. I've always wanted one and nows the time to get one. (I have impulse buying issues). I saw a super clean white one in pleasanton the other night and wanted to add a grand theft auto charge to my record

Ok, I'm done.....for now

^LMAO Man Tom, seriously dude, there are better suv's in the segment than the compass. You are not a car dude and I can respect that.
Think of performance as passive safety, not necessarily hp numbers. A car that handles well and isn't to heavy will be more responsive and will perform better, say in a crash avoidance lane change, you want a car that will help you maintain control effortlessly and make you feel confident at all times.
Maybe in the inevitable event that you are unable to change lanes and need really good brakes-especially when hauling gear;extra gear adds weigh;more weigh=longer stopping distances;- consider brakes with the now pretty much standard ABS, traction control, brake force distribution, etc.
It's not that were Mazda loyalists, but the reality is that Mazda is actually making really good cars nowadays.

There's a black Corrado that lives around us. Have you ever seen it?

A little bit krauted up for my tastes but it's still a bad little car. I usually see it on my way to work. The driver drives like an ******* (yes worse than me), but it's a nice little car. I didn't realize that that was the car you were talking about.

I get where you are coming from, but if you don't want your ideas opinionated then just stop posting them on the forums. the more you post and call others homo's the more well come back at you. if you want to learn your mistakes yourself then get the car your looking for then post like crazy. Leo was just trying to open your eyes with those reviews that he looked up for you. Yes, there are good reviews out there, but the ones that matter the most are the bad ones. Goodluck with your car hunting and please don't turn this into a, "My 8 gets really bad MPG, what can I do?," type of thing.

You stick work projects up your ***. ^_^

Not really tho, you really shouldn't stick stuff up there. That's an exit only hole for me.
