Bay area: Need #&!* Wheel Lock

Ray (CHR) is here helping me rebuild my engine.

However, there is no wheel lock lug to be found, which is seriously screwing us up.

If anyone in the Bay area (I'm in Oakland) has a lock shaped like this one that we can borrow, please reply ASAP via IM.

Thanks!

Andre

2 options, first try a vice grip over the lug nut and try to remove. second option, and most likely successful, buy 4 sockets slightly smaller than existing lug then pound one each corner to remove. Otherwise GO TO YOUR DEALER!

Do you still have the card that comes when you bought the car and return the registration card?

The card should be in a small brown envelope.

It has a lock id number.

McGard is the vendor.

The phone number is 1-800-444-5847.
Website: www.mcgard.com

I had to order one because I didn't have a key.

No, the envelope & key are missing. Either Rick's Rotary or the Mazda dealer in Oakland took them.

Nope.

Neither key nor envelope/code have I.

The Madza dealer told me to **** off since I didn't have the code.

I lost my wheel lock key and I couldn't drive my car to Mazda because I had a fucked up rim, so that wasn't an option for me.. Since, Mazda won't do it, I'd say go to Pep Boys and buy their lug nut & wheel lock key remover. It's $20 plus tax.. I used it and it worked great! Let me know if you have any more questions..

Lost mine and I took it to Mazda and they removed it and gave me extra lugs to replace the locks.

Thanks to all!

CRH & I are in the process of swapping out my engine so having the wheels off would make it a good bit easier.
