I dont know exactly what mods a spec miata has, but most likly it wouldnt be street legal because of emissions violations, plus you just dont want to drive a race car on the street. If you did, it would need tobe registered and insured. It would be easier and cheaper to own a beater for the street.

^ dang it'll take you an hour to get to Milpitas from there.. Better fill up the gas cans cuz prices are starting to go over $4.. Assuming you use premium gas

If not... then your engine is going to blow

Coming from a world using those silly piston engines, I love this car. Used, but in good condition. My knowledge of rotary engine wasn't that great but since I purchased the car I haven't stop learning how to take care of my sexy bish. This site has helped alot!

and i see you're getting more acquainted to the site and even have a profile pic and an album pic !!!
first step is powdercoating those rims and some stealth side markers well that depends on your preference and car theme..

:[[[ got a CEL for my cat converter today. my mechanic was saying i shouldnt worry about it until my smog check and even then he said he wouldn't be too worried about it. i know cat converters just take the bad emissions from your car and all but im hearing a lot of loss of power stuff if your cat is gone. anyone know if its true?

if you have the stock cat. and you have a cell take it very serious.
bad cats can blow your engine. too much back pressure.
have it checked

i got the CEL checked out and he just reset it and said it should be fine and i dont need to replace it just yet. He also said if it comes back on i should head back over and look into replacing it. This is my personal mechanic and not a mazda dude so yah. i trust him.

I know we are meeting at the D&B's at the great mall, but where exactly, its a pretty big parking lot? Should I just look for a bunch of rotaries huddled together?

for some reason that sounds funny lol.

And I'm the one on the 7 forums that originally suggested D&B because of the large parking lot, and D&B's large advertising (i think. havnt been there in a long time)

The meet time is from 3-4 pm now, so i'll still try to get off at 1 pm still so I can get there at like 2 pm and I'll be the easiest one to spot for everyone, cuz theres no way you cant see a bright yellow RX8..

I'm going to be pissed off if I cant get off early at all that day, because i put in my request for time off weeks ago, and my boss is just asking my coworker about it this week, whom is quite lazy so I'm doubtful.. otherwise, im off at 3:30

well at least it sounds better than "Should i just look for a bunch of wankels huddled together?"
