WOW What a GREAT day for our RCCAZ club drive today! MnyRex we missed you.
Club members met up at 8am and we started our trek north in AZ (okay I got there late but still). Our drive lasted from 8:15 to 5pm, so we got a lot of seat time in today! I want to welcome uwhahn who joined us in his winning blue today, having moved here a mere 2 weeks ago he got a GREAT tour of some super roads in this great state! The weather was simply perfect and we had a nice sized group of 9 rotaries - 3 7's and 6 8's. Thanks RCCAZ_1 for the great raffle prizes today (as always) today at lunch, and it's nice to see a few of you wearing your new 2007 club t-shirts. I really love the picture on the back.
Here are a few pics but you're welcome to view all of them HERE if you are so inclined. Thanks to everyone who could come and play today. It was a GREAT day!
This isn't everyone unfortunately, but the majority of the club members having a quick lunch and much needed break.
We had to yield to this horse drawn carriage in Jerome AZ while on our drive today:
9 cars strong today, we had a good showing!
Wheeeeeeeeeeeeee! These lazy curves are FUN!
Last one, I just had to put up a shot of SwtBlnde's new HOT WHEELS on her Nordic Green. Ssssssssssssssss-mokin'!
Thanks All and see you next time!

I have to agre that was a fun drive, long too. As in 370 miles by the time I got back home.
What a day though. Had some excellent times on Mingus Mountain. Sweet road.
Here are the pics I took today between twisting the steering wheel and hitting the brakes.

Dayum Nice shots Easy! You know, as I see Jerome through the camera lens, I'm going to commit to taking more shots there. It's an interesting town to be sure.
Mny - you definitely made the right choice. Safety comes first and foremost. Period!

HEY!
Y'all were all in my back yard. Thats my neck of the woods. Too bad I was at work while you were zoom'n up the mountain.
If anybody missed this run or want to do it again AZMC is having their annual Mingus Mt Run on the first Saturday in June.
Y'all are welcome to attend.

Easy, I was wondering why all your shots above appear to be taken from the driver's seat instead of your co-pilot snapping those pics? :D
Next upcoming RCCAZ event:
Sunday, May 6, 2007 - Spring Tortilla Flats Run. Details and meeting time and place to be announced.
WOOT!

Well I take better pic's than Micki. She has her own camera too. Plus I like trying to drive and hold a camera and take pic's at the same time.

LOL I know there's one time I came so close to a guard rail that I haven't a clue how I got away with it. WHEW!
Hey Erick, any interest in running Pole Position at the Tortilla Flats run? RCCAZ_1 has conflicting obligations (grandson's birthday trumps us that day!)
