I can almost see a vette from every year each time I drive through Sun City, and Surprise. Most are the 2nd childhood old farts with equally old wives.

Hey be nice!! Some us are starting to get annoying AARP mail. Won't be too long from now that a ZR1 is going to look good. Even with the hole in the hood.

OK, here's the scoop for our New Year's Day Drive.
Meet in the parking lot of the Phoenix Zoo (between VanBuren and McDowell Road on Galvin Parkway) between 10 and 10:30 am. Depart for a drive to the top of South Mountain at 11 am. Leave summit of South Mountain Park by 12:30 to get to F1 by 1 pm for Go Karting, lunch, and door prizes."

I wash at the local self-serve because the water is filtered (no spots and only $2).
Then, I drive it home (about 2 miles) and wipe it down with quick detailer.

I had a black truck. Black looks killer when clean, but dirty, well......

Yellow hides the dirts better, but the soot really shows up..

Thanks to everyone who made it out today. It was a great day, albiet the frigid breeze. It's always a GREAT way to get the year off on the right foot. It was great to have such a strong showing of AZMC members as well. Hope you all enjoyed the event as we sure enjoyed having you along for the day.

Nice meeting other newbies as well (Lou and Robbie) and great seeing Charles and Michelle.

Thanks to everyone who came out! All the best (and more boost) in 2008!

Tim

HUGE THANK YOU to azlizard for helping me "conquer" South Mountain!
Great to see everyone, and some new faces, AND to meet Michelle. Looking forward to when you and Ray will be with us on more adventures.

Sue, did you get any pictures on the drive? Timarie just took pictures of us, she's not too hot on taking pictures of the actual drive. And by the way, what is the next drive?

Hey, your more than welcome. Whatever it takes to help you overcome fears/feelings about south mountain.

It was nice having you as my co-pilot!
