She wouldn't mind a bit. But the plan is to be at Jeff's about 2:00pm Monday.
And the other thing is I will be in Vegas with Dave and Charles (Ray) Hill, till who knows when Sunday the 10th. If we get back in the afternoon I have no problem with having a BBQ. When we all come back from Vegas (Dave, Ray and I), Ray will be at my house and I thought we would take a drive out to Tortilla Flats Monday morning. Then over to Jeff's in the afternoon. Ray's plane leaves at 6:00pm Monday.
So I don't know how much time there is for a BBQ.
My thought's wuold be to congregate at Jeff's around the 2:00pm mark. BUt that's up to him.
We'll think of something as the day gets closer.

Depending on when we leave Vegas. It will be a 4 hr or less drive back to PHX.
We should be back around 1:00 to 4:00 pm. So figure out what to do Sunday night.
A little dinner action or some bar time.
In Tempe, by ASU! College Girls Gone Wild!!!!
MeMicki
Sorry got a little carried away there.

HAHA you guys are hilarious!
I am totally free Sunday so I can roll up Vegas with Erick and free on Monday for whatever, too.
About how far is the Airport from South Mountain, Jeff? Monday evening rush will be hell. I suspect we will only have 2 hours at your place if we get there at 2 and have to be at the airport by 5.....
I think I will join you, Erick, on Tortilla flats run. I haven't done that yet

Get yur ars up early then. You thought the drive to my house was far,,,, HA HA HA
Well actually it's the next exit past Ironwood (My turn) down the US60 to Idaho Rd. Meet us at the Chevron on the Northeast side of the US60. Anybody else doing nothing on Monday is more than welcome to tag along.
Exact time to be determined, will inform before Monday the11th.

Just so you guys know what kind of idiot you are dealing with; I have done several 24-hour recording/mixing sessions as well as auto-oriented all-nighters. When I get to Phil's Saturday morning I plan on taking 5 minutes to get acclimated and then starting the work on his car right away. If I need to work all day Saturday and overnight into Sunday to get it done, I am prepared to do that. That'll either make me feel like a kid again or show me just how young I am not.
BTW, when I am as old as the rest of you curmudgeons I wonder if I'll be equally perverted(?). I suppose with your negative influence I will.

I think it will take longer than 5 minutes to acclimate yourself. You and Mr. Gatorade will become good friends in a short period of time. Vegas is like Phoenix as in it is HOT there too. Oh and it was cool here today,, only 100 degrees.
Looking at 106 this weekend.
Curmudgeons,
An ill-tempered (and frequently old) person full of stubborn ideas or opinions. Fits us like a glove, does it not?

I'd be interested in a get-together on Charles' second trip out here (whenever that may be)... need to meet up with the Phoenix folk outside of a hectic auto event... I promise not to mention the Crossfire motor idea!

so what is your timeframe for moving out here, Ray? I can refer you to a relator if you want- she's great. Helped us with our house. She can email you house listings so you can have an idea of what you want before you get here. I'm not getting any kick-back from this either, so don't think that! Just let me know
Look forward to your visit

I finally got arouind to showing my kids those pics of AZ and they liked what they saw.
I will be in the Phoenix area on 6/10 and 6/11, hanging with Easy, Chicken, and MM, if anybody wants to meet up with us somewhere. I'll probably be making a second trip to Phx shortly after that.

Actually my schedule has just CLEARED for that weekend so I'd really like to meet up with the group as well.
Ray it would be a great chance to meet you. I don't post much on 8 club but as Easy_E1 and MM can atest to, I'm pretty active here locally.
It would be great to have another rotary nut in the mix!

Charles, if you underestimate the temps and low humidity here you will wake up with people shining lights in your eyes.
Too bad Ford is following IBM down the tubes. Hopefully something survives.
No wonder small and medium businesses is where all the action is.
If none of this makes sense then the Black Russian is mixed wrong...
Sign me up for your second trip here.... I second Flashwing on rotary nuts. But I am not too proud to go LS-1/2/6/ if needed! But the rotary is so cool I hope that is not needed. Pistons don't scare me, but I have a rotary fascination!
And a Turbo temptation...
