05/15 Casino Run

This just in .....

Everyone,

Mark your calendars for Saturday, May 15th for our 2nd Annual Valley Casino Poker Run. For those of you who've never
done a poker run, it's a fun way to get out and drive your vehicle. Basically there are five stops from where the event
starts to where it ends. At each stop you receive a playing card, and the driver with the best poker hand will win a
prize at the post-event lunch.

We'll plan on starting the event around 10 a.m. at a departure point to be announced and will wrap it up around 1 p.m.
with lunch and prizes at Fox Sports Grill near Frank Lloyd Wright and Scottsdale Road. Specific details will follow early next week. We will need a headcount for the resturaunt, so let me know
if you want to GO!!

Hope to see you there!

Tim

my first poker run, alot of fun, could have been better if a section of the 101 was not closed down. a bit hot, not as hot for us 8 owners 'tho but good company, good food, and good turnout. Missed some of you Mattman, SD, 09...maybe next time...tim was talking carts, woo-hoo!

If anyone need audio stuff.... I can get it at cost from a buddy of mine...

He hooked me up with a 12" Pyle Driver for $20 Bucks..

I think the hardest thing to deal with is the dashboard, how in the heck are you going to get a good audio deck in there?

Everyone,

The event went off without a hitch. Sixteen cars, 20 people, and a great post-event lunch at Fox Sports Grill. I think everyone had a great time. Got to meet several of our newest members. Very impressed by the stereo in one of our new members car (George and his Red RX-8). Very impressive indeed! Looking forward to our next event!!! Pics and post event wrapup to be posted on RCCAZ no later than Tuesday of this week. Also, if you have pics from the event that you'd like posted, email them to teull@***.net

good time!

09factor,

if ur the yellow, u already know how i drive (i think there is something wrong with my accelerator, it seems to be stuck to the floor )! i was the second car to leave, as i entered the first stop, i caught the first car just leaving. made it to the second stop, and at the third stop, could not find the pointman. i found out after, at lunch, that i arrived there at the checkpoint before them. shea blvd is a nice ride, especially if you have a lead car (i had some guy going approx 77 down shea). yes, excellent day for a "spririted run" through town.
