I don't travel very far without my basic tools and some spare parts because you just never know...

That said I've never had major breakdown and do all my own work. Having the shop manual around for tq specs helps out a **** ton. I also triple check my work before I button everything up.

Ive had some shitty situation in the past with other cars.
