Um...is anyone (particularly anyone with a garage) thinking about a pre-event maintenance/install party type of thing? I'm sure I'm the only person left on the forum that actually needs future installs, everyone else has long since knocked out the major items on their wish lists. but still, fluid changes are always a smart idea.
Creto, I said fluid changes, not fluid EXchanges. In case you had gotten any ideas

Pulling my air pump, and replacing everything from (and including) the headers back.
If I get around to it, the brake lines and flush the fluid while I'm at it.

Has anyone here had their windshield replaced? Mine has so many thousands of micro-chips that it looks like it's perpetually covered in sap...and not in a Jurassic Park sort of way. My question to those of you who have had it done is this: Can they do some sort of registration/inspection sticker replacement, or do I have to order the registration again and have the inspection done again?

Well guys, I'm not making it this year... I've kinda cracked a dowel plate on my front housing (I think)... So I'm leaking oil like no other mother and I need a rebuild... which can't be done till probably May 1st. Sorry...

Damn, that sucks. How the hell did you do that? Sounds like you ran lean. Tuning, tuning, tuning.
Turblown is taking longer than expected on my turbo, it's been a month and a half and it was supposed to be sent out to me last week but I'm still getting the run around but I am still hopeful I can get it back, installed, and tuned by the 28th.

I technically detonated the engine because it started knocking quite bad, but nothing actually blew up other then the cracked plate. I'm not sure why it ran lean all of a sudden, I'm running a tune from MazdaManiac right now... but oh well. I'm taking it to Rotary Inspired Performance in Moore, OK. and Brad is going to rebuild the engine and do a streetport on it. And I ran into a similar thing on my Turbo, I sent the lil greddy one off to BNR to get rebuilt and it ended up tanking about twice as long as intended due to a missing part or something.
Anyways, I hope you guys have a great time, if only I could go... I guess I could ride the bike and be one of those bikers that pisses you guys off and wants to find the blue car with the black hood.

Yeah I'm not sure why companies quote you a time frame and then don't deliver anywhere near that time frame. It's quite annoying.
"nothing actually blew up other than the cracked plate", . That is the quote of the day.
Well you are still venting your blow off valve to atmosphere right............................................. ..................
