If we end up going to chacho's we either better get there early, or put 4 people in every car.

^ And this is why. In past years we have def been in the restuarant way past 8, and so that would not be feasable, especially for you, WTBRotary!. I'm still pissed they gave Ahad such a hard time at Flips. Not to mention the horrible parking for such a large group.

You guys seem to be really selling BIGZ, so I have two questions. A is there a backup plan for the patio if the weather is shitty, and B. How close is to the hotel (trying to judge if we go on Fri or Sat)

I'd also be cool with your mexican, but I also have questions about that. A same as above, and B parking looked real slim

Same for Porky's

BIGz, when I spoke with the owner, she said that Friday and Saturday nights are busy from about 7-9(close)

if we put a CC down (no charge unless we no show) we can reserve the right side section of this building. They have plenty of tables, role up plastic windows, tvs, and ceiling fans. I think this would be perfect for either night as we can also hold the raffle in this place as well.

Well if its close to the hotel I would rather do it Fri (unless of course both restaurants are close then it doesnt matter), if its far away I'd rather do it Sat. And when I say close and far, I mean like 5-10 mins is what I call close.

The patio at Bigz is covered, in relation to the hotel it is about 10 minutes away up on 1604.

The mexican place is a straight shot down Fredricksburg, with the lights and traffic i would say it would take about 10 min to get there. Parking wise, it doesn't really get busy at all for dinner, but there is more than enough room for over 20 cars.

Porky's really isnt feasible because it would be a PITA to get to, about 20-30min. The parking lot will be very hard for lowered cars to get into, I scrapped and I'm not even lowered yet.

I would suggest doing the mexican place on Friday night, and then doing Bigz on Saturday night. Either way, we can do plenty of photo shoots on either night.

Looks like we have a plan!

The only group meal that leaves us with is lunch on Sat. I believe we had discussed eating at the biker place on the midway stop, and a BBQ place as well. As far as the Biker place, I'm not too sure I could control myself there, aka we've had several of these meets in the past and most bikers tend to hog the road, which makes me VERY angry.

What is the name of the other place, and would they be able to handle a group this large knowing that we are coming? Do you have other suggestions?

The BBQ place that we were wanting to hit is up in Junction, when we did our test run, it turned out to be too far off the beaten path. It adds 2 hours of drive time from the original run.

With us leaving from SA, heading up to Medina and then to Leakey/Camp Wood it puts us back in Camp Wood at the same time as we are normally use to. So theoretically we can eat at the same buffet mexican we always do. I will draw something up for yall to review.

Apparently the quote function is giving people trouble tonight...

I'd like to point out that the men's/women's t-shirts are the same cut (i.e both regular man t-shirts) but the girls have a different saying on the back. instead of wankal is rotor.

Thought you'd appreciate the green (you can thank me later).

As for where you can wear it, it's clean. It doesn't say anything bad :P

Oh, one thing of note on the shirts... if you want to save on shipping and handling, group up your orders with other folks. Makes the overall price per shirt go down.

And sorry to the ladies that there's only men cut shirts avail. The shirts they had for women did not offer the same colors, unfortunately.

I'm relatively new to San Antonio, and dropping the wife at the airport that weekend, so I'll have my daughter, but I would love to hit a couple of events.
