I agree with rotarygod. The most common topics you find in the Interior Audio Electronics forum are about sound systems and the navigation system. An audio subforum might make a little sense though

I would have liked to see a caprupter subforum, too. I'm looking at doing a carputer for my 8, and would love to have a place to research and shop and get other info before I jump into what will most likely be a pretty big investment and a big techinical challenge.

I am in the process of purchaseing most of the stuff to start a Carputer project. I will start a thread tonight on what I have and share as much as posible during the installation

Not quite sure what you're problem is. What makes you think we don't want it to happen? It's not about wants. It's about needs. We don't need it. This isn't some mod conspiracy to get rid of people. People always think that though when they don't get their way. It just isn't necessary. I've looked at the audio section. I help moderate it. There aren't that many threads on your carputer subject. 1 or 2 new ones every couple of weeks isn't enough to justify it and there are many more threads in there right now that far outnumber the carputer threads that by the same justification would deserve their own subforums as well. When there is a need we'll entertain it. There isn't right now and at the rate this topic pops up, there won't be a need for one for a very long time to come. I'd make the topic a sticky but then people would complain that the thread is too long and hard to sort through.

Thank you for the suggestion. At this time it is not an option that is necessary.
