yikes - yeah - didn't see the conflict w/ the drive-in. Hrm...Well, anyone who wants to show up can show up at ANY time from about 11am on, and leave when they like.
I figure it should take a couple hours to get the things installed. I can't see but about two or three people actually turning wrenches, so most of the participants will be cheering and talking and what-not.
This'll be very informal and relaxed and casual.

Darrin: For the suspension install...the air tools aren't really needed.....especially without a lift. There really isn't much to the swap....and I found the air tools got more in the way than anything. Wish you were closer.....I've got it down to about 1.25 hrs front and back.

dang...hrm. I'll pay half your gas bill, and put you up for the night! Your experience would be valuable
Seems the whole day is 'off' - When I got into work, I had a call on my machine saying the coilovers went into back order.
I called - yup! "Can get 'em."
Hung up and called my wife to get her CC number
Called back, placed my order.
Seems in the time it took for my order to be given to Tein, from the vendor, and the time it took somebody to actually walk out to a warehouse, ANOTHER employee grabbed the last set.
They are back ordered until 5 October. That blows a HUGE hole in my plan. I hate having my plan shot to hell.
The idea was simple: Get the coilovers this week, so I can have the car aligned on the 2nd for a track day on the 14th. (the 2nd or the 9th are the only two work days I have off between now and the 14th, and the alignment shop was booked on the 9th).
Thus, I'll likely get my coilovers in time for the track day, but I won't install them until I can get another alignment date.
:-/
Life isn't over, but sure is disappointing.

where did you order from? I also called too at www.optionimports.com before I ordered and they said they can ship it out. They charged my card and everything so they better come as promised.
Adrenalineracing.com - And I'm telling you guys BUY from Eddie, there at AR. This guy is amazing when it comes to customer satisfaction.
He's working with me to AMAZING lengths to get my car done before the track day - It'll end up likely working out so I'll bring my car down to him when the parts arrive, and he'll work with me on getting the stuff installed and aligned.
If any of you want the BEST customer service, and competative pricing, Give eddie a call.
