I Was Thinking, "and I Don't Do This, But Every Two Or Three Years", To Have A Night Out At A Near By Drive-in Movie Theather, Like We Do Back Home. And See How Many Rx8 We Can Put Together In One Place, And At The Same Time We Can Meet More Owners, And Come Up With Some More Ideas On Stuff To Do. I Am Not From Here Put I Think There Is One Drive-in Movie Theather By Auburn, Which Wood Be Close To The Center Of Seattle And Olympia. I Am Thinking "again" Of Mid September. Hey all, sorry been really busy and havent had much time to be on here. The drive in sounds great to me. I will get back with you on dates of when I can go. They should still be open next month. I dont see why they wont be with all the good weather we have been having. I will check back.

Sounds like fun. Too many yuppies in my area for a drive in, so we'll have to wait on fishnhard or someone else to give us more details. Admittedly, I fall into that category, and rather like it. But I do like to get out of the blahs too.

 

Ok movie buffs!!!! How does Sept 8th sound. That is when my wife and I can make it to the movies. I really hope we get more than just 3 of us for this. I know there are a lot of more is us RX's running around than what has shown up in the past. Anyhow, the Valley 6 Drive-Inn is located at 401 49th St Ne., Auburn WA 98002. I would suggest we find a meeting place for eveyone to meet before we go in. I am open to suggestions, I dont know Aubrun very well. I am going to try to attach a map, but it is located just off of Auburn Way N. onto 49th st NE.

i know where it is, they have 5 movies running, its $7.00 per person, junior 12-15 years are $4.00 and kids 11 or under are free. they open at 8:00pm. we can meet by the krispi creem, by the tacoma mall for the people down here (tacoma, olimpia, etc) by 5:30pm living at 6:00pm and meet the rest up there at the commence mall parking lot, by the red robin in federal way (what used to be call seatac mall) by 6:30pm and living at 7:00pm from there to get to the drive-in by 7:30pm all togethere. here is the website from the drive-in:

i work all day on sep 8 can we make it on sep. 15, which wood give me two weeks to get the day off or after the day!!!!

 

Im gonna have to look at my schedule, but I can pretty much do this any Saturday or Sunday after 6:30 PM. Fridays are too busy for me.

 

What About Sunday The 17 Sep? I Am Free That Day And Its A Sunday Not That Much Going On.

 

Sundays are a little problematic. Last time I went to that drive in they had a double feature, which I think they do each night. IF you start at 8:00 and do two 2 hour movies and a 30 minute intermission, you end up leaving around 12:30. For those that have to work monday that can be an issue.

That being said, we would love to go. The weekend of the 15th we have annivesary plans but any other weekend we will be there.

What About Saturday 23 Sep, And Yes They Do Two Feature. On The Week That We Pick, I Will Post The Movie That Are Playing

 

Well I know we cant do the 15th we will be out of town again. as far as the the 23rd or that weekend period I can not make, I have military duty. We did talk about doing it on the 9th which is a Sat. Just makes getting up sunday harder, but it is doable. Well thats my imput. Lets see how it works out. One more thing, the more I think about this, to try to do it on a Fri, and make our way north, traffic is going to suck, but Sat traffic wont be soo bad. Just my thought!!
