Better Bass?

You guys get better bass having the subs facing forward or backward?

actually.. i have asked many sub enthusiasts.. and the best (from even my sub).. is when u point it to the side... u get the best quality... i am not sure why.... and yes I have tested this theory with mine.. now its always to the side.

Backward. They will have more direct interaction with the airspace in the trunk, which increases the amount of bass you feel. Besides, you're less likely to get a lot of rattle from the trunk, which is tight on our cars, than the backseat, which has that passthrough.

BTW- never tried side, but I could see how that would be slammin
