I was driving my new RX-8 tonight and my car made a funny noise. I'm a little embarrassed, so I drove it real easy as I limped back home. Hell, I was like this close to calling a towtruck. Anyway, here's the thing - every time I shift, the car sounds like it says..."Bob?"

Who's Bob? I'm not like into guys or anything. I played the usual locker room games and all that in High School, but really - I'm all man. I don't know who or what this stupid car is implying.

Should I switch my intake back to stock?

The engine says Bob or the tranny says Bob?

Something clogged in the intake that makes it scream for Bob?

 

You changed your intake, and now the car calls you Bob.

Put the intake back to stock, then drive (clockwise) around the block.

If you are no longer "Bob", you have your answer.

Now you have to find what was the question?

If you get it towed to the dealer, and they have to put it back to stock, you will be paying for all your stock parts, PLUS the tow - don't expect any warrantee.
