What's the best Piggy Back system?

]What's the best Piggy Back system for the RX8?I'm not going to do any FI so I would think a piggy back would suffice with the regular run-of-the-mill bolt on mods.

im sure people will start to chime in soon. this should get interesting.

To help decide whats most valualbe... how much are you willing to spend?
IMO, You really don't want to spend too much on a piggy back if your total gains as N/A aren't going to be so high.

This is true.I don't want to spend 900.00 for the likes of the Turbo XS UTEC.It's probably a great system but I would like to get a lot more bang for my buck.If there is something good enough out there with a smaller price tag I'm all over it.

I stand corrected the Turbo XS Utec is a stand alone.I guess the price of that system is justified.

I don't think the Ultimate works on the RX-8 yet. Greddy released it with a lot of unsolved application errors................

you might want to search for a while... two piggy back systems exhist...

one works very well. the other requires lots and lots of effort..

the turbo xs is not a stand alone and is not available...

read around a bit.

pm me if you need some help.

The E-manage/Canzoomer works if you tune it for your car. If you are careful you can get it to work without triggering LTFT that will "learn" out your adjustments.

You could get an InterceptorX...basically allows you to tune as a standalone, works well......but it's pricey

Few others....soon there should be a "ECU flash" that can tune...but we are still waiting

if you have a little knowlege of tuning your only choice is the intercepter.... it works right out of the box..... and you can learn..

the other options you can put in and learn, and blow the motor, or blow the coils or mess everything up.... it may or may not work, depends on how much work you are willing to put into it....

sounds like you want a cheap quick no brainer fix....

it does not exist... you pay your money and learn how to learn or you save money and hope to learn...

research is the base....

you have just asked a ?? and dont know anything about what is avaible..

take a couple of days and read, what is your hurry... most of the stuff you cannot buy yet.. if ever.

hope this helps.

Used Canzoomer, have a mechanic tune it. Easiest solution in your price range. Get the later version, the one with the coil fix.
