My 8 is a bug magnet. Even the shortest drives leave bugs and guts all over my windshield and bumper. Yesterday, I didn't have any detail spray or whatever, I took some winshield washer fluid and wiped down my windshield, headlights, and front bumper. Basically I just wet a 100% cotton cloth with the washer fluid and wiped off the guts. How bad was that? Should I not do that?

I was curious if the washer fluid would damage the wax job I do or anything else...I live in Minnesota so when it gets -20degrees Fahrenheit I need something that won't freeze...um yyeah

 

It didn't seem like a bad idea, the stuff sprays all over the place when you wash your windshield anyway. And it's got to be cheaper than the detail sprays and stuff...
