PA NEEDED - Rotor Bearing Install tool

Category: Accessories
Price: $0
Private or Vendor Listing: Private Listing
Part Fits (you may select multiples): Series I
Location (US State/Canada/Int): PA
Item Condition: Used

I'm in need of a rotor bearing install tool. I tried two different manufacturers now, and all have told me one month or more lead time. I want to do this sooner.

Is there anyone near Allentown PA that has one to loan/sell?

Where does 200 MPH live?

im outside of scranton area north of you but i dont have a specific tool, my brother owns an auto shop but im not sure if its a special tool just for that or if he has something that might work. sonicsdaman is closer to you, idk if he has anything like that tho. williard isnt too far and i think he rebuilt his own engines so maybe reach out to him. keck03 had a motor rebuilt by a shop in nj who might be able to help you for a fee but dont remember who he used

Yeah, I think I'm gonna go that route. I tried 'Black Mamba Racing', they said it would be longer than a month. Then I found out they just order from 'E&J Automotive' in Miami and re-sell them. I reached out to E&J and placed an order. They contacted me a week later saying their lathe broke, and once it was fixed they had some prior orders to fill before mine. Needless to say I canceled that as well.

I preferred that tool over the Atkins one, because it had the capability to stop at the top, whereas the Atkins tool CAN be pressed in too far by an amateur (like me). I was hoping somebody local could either loan me one, or direct me to a shop that would charge less than $100 to press two bearings. Anyway, probably getting the Atkins.

On a side note - I THINK I saw you once on Airport road near Harry's - you were turning down American Parkway and I flashed a 'gang sign' at you that was a triangle formed by my 2 index fingers and thumbs!

On a side note - either of you need a 54mm socket, hit me up. You can borrow any time.

Possibly I do take airport rd and murican parkway to work. 8's been in hibernation since October. I think I'm the only local winningblue 8 with a mazdaspeed kit around
I did see a bone stock silver 8 yesterday on rt33
