Northzone's turbo project with Brett Mani

Hello all - please be patient, this thread will have significant revisions, and my capabilities with creating content are limited.

Being one of the lucky winners of a Brett Manifold, significant time challenges have delayed the actual install and relegate this to a winter project. Last winter most of the intake piping and exhaust was lined up and fixed up. This winter the plan is to finish all the other related tasks including tuning by April, so I can enjoy it after the snow melts.

Before starting the project a compression test proved the low milage engine was still in good shape.

Utilizing the parts list supplied by Brett most of the parts were ordered.

The Aftercooler install was started and revised countless times but finally decided it fit best between the front and the crash bar which had to be cut down.

. . . . . . . . . . . . .
original positioning for fitment . . .Three bracket mounting using threated rubber inserts. . Cut out crash bar but should have removed the top gap

The piping was thought out and modified countless times but here is the final result. the pictures were not taken in any sequence.

. . . . . .
Turbo outlet is straight up, pipe weld is a bit close. . . . . . . RH side out of engine compartment . . . RH side to AC

. . . .
LH side from AC . . . . . . . . . . . . . LH side into engine compartment . . . . . . to throttle body

Sadly there has been very little time available to work on this project, it has only received 3 short days' worth of time since last spring and this spring isn't looking any better. From an original plan for 24 days from Oct to April it has only gotten 2 and a bit. The pressure piping and down pipe are done but that leaves everything else from injectors, gauges, battery relocate and oil cooler hoses.
