Thanks Brettus! This build is based on his turbo manifold. First two pieces have arrived, manifold from Brettus and blow off valve from Japan.
By the way this manifold is so small and light compared to the stock one that I almost wanted to demand some money back for all the missing metal!!!!! I love it!!!😻 Thanks again Brett!

I bought it off of ebay Japan, hopefully it is genuine HKS.

The photo doesn’t do it justice, it is a piece of art!!!

This is future TReX-8

So I was once a brand new shiny And proud RX8 in the province of Alberta in Canada. Look at me now! I was written off as salvage because of a small dent and non-running motor!! You tell me how any if it is my fault? Shouldn’t those who were supposed to drive me properly and take care me been sent to an institution for check up instead? Anyways, this dodo23 guy saw me advertised for sale and he rushed to save me from those awful wreckers, you know the guys that rip your heart and kidneys out and sell them for transplants. They laughed at dodo when he said he might have me running in their yard and told him they had two professionals spend time trying to fire me up, it was hopeless, they said. But this dodo guy knew a few things about us rotaries his mentor Dannobre had taught him. In an hour with a borrowed battery he almost had me running, but being the carefree soul he is, he forgot to bring some minor things like tools and spark plugs from home!! So he had me towed to his place and man was I happy to be there, it kind of reminded me of the days at the Mazda dealership with all those other 8s. His driveway was full of my fellow 8s, except we are not brand new anymore. Guess what, I was running soon after I landed in his driveway, I have no hot start issues even with the 11 tooth starter, OK I don’t have great compression, but what do you expect from a rotary if you don’t stay on top of maintenance? I only have 68K km on me! Anyways I have sat here for a couple of years waiting for something to happen, now I have been parked inside the garage, is something about to happen?

Love it that you have rescued a doomed 8 for this project. Lets make her the awesome sports car she deserves to be!
