Anyone that's installed an S2 trans on an S1, and installed the spacer that goes between the block and transmission, how did you do it? I've almost had the engine and trans mated together a few times now, but when I try to spin the e shaft to get the splines to line up, the flywheel knocks the spacer down and it gets tangled up in the teeth of the flywheel. I'm almost to the point where I'm going to say to hell with this spacer, it's wasted enough of my time.


Edit: Disregard, finally got the spacer to sit on the back of the block.
