Just bought an S2 differential to put into my S1 soon. I found the price to be more than reasonable considering how expensive and rare these units are. I'm providing the link below just to get some additional opinions from you guys with all the pictures in there. The assembly has 81,000 miles and according to the seller, it has no problems.

What do you guys think? Obviously, I won't find out the true nature of it till it's installed.

Whats your reason to put in a s2 diff?

 

Primarily for the 4.77 final drive ratio.

 

It was too much for the mileage, for the same money there are lower mileage ones around (just not on eBay)

It will feel a lot better than the stop-watch reality, but it's a good match to the S1 trans ratios

 

Looks like impulse buy got the best of me Lol. I don't know my sources too well when it comes to used parts, but nonetheless I'm looking forward to the new gearing.
