I bought me a 40th aniv rx8 yesterday. Unfortunately it came with only 1 key and no fobs or smart keys. How do I determine which key and or remote or frob do I need to purchase for my car. I have the button on my door handle for the frob. But I don't know if it has remote start. How do I find out. Tks in advance

 

If you have small rubber buttons on your door handles, you have the Advanced Key.

Do you just have a small square with a key blade on it? Sounds like you need this part.



RX-8 doesn't have remote start from the factory.

 

I never did say thank you. Finally ordered one this past weekend. Months later. hell its hard o cut loose that much $$ for a key
